As Matariki rises, we are honoured to present a new body of work by Pounamu artist Haylie Fry, captured here in a dramatic evening light that reflects the celestial spirit of the season. ✨️

Each taonga is a journey of connection. Before carving, Haylie grounds her wairua with karakia, ensuring deep respect for tikanga and the stone. Upon completion, the stone is washed and blessed in local waters, becoming a true kaitiaki (guardian) for its future wearer.
